Level I Apprentice Plumber (Utah Licensed)

Day Shift | Full-Time | Growth Opportunity

A well-established Utah-based utility and service plumbing company is hiring a Level I Apprentice Plumber to join a growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for apprentices looking to build real-world experience, increase earning potential, and work toward long-term career advancement in the plumbing trade.

You’ll work alongside licensed plumbers on a variety of interior and exterior projects, gaining exposure to both residential and utility-related plumbing work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Interior Plumbing Work

• Bathroom drain repairs
• Valve and fixture replacements
• Minor leak detection and repairs

Exterior Plumbing Work

• Storm drain systems
• Exterior piping and drainage

General Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
• Follow Utah plumbing codes, safety standards, and jobsite procedures
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional worksites
• Use a tablet or mobile device to:
• Complete work orders
• Upload photos and job notes
• Communicate with supervisors and customers

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• Valid Utah Level I Apprentice Plumber License
• Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, digging, confined spaces)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials
• Comfortable using tablets or mobile apps for job documentation
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn

Compensation

• Hourly pay + commission
• Commission opportunities based on:
• • Completed jobs
  • Performance and productivity
  • Approved upsells or additional work
• Pay rate based on experience and licensing level

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior plumbing or construction experience
• Experience with storm drains or exterior plumbing
