OverviewPart Time Dental AssistantColumbia River Endodontics Yakima, WA We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll support our provider(s) during treatment and help deliver outstanding care to our patients and contribute to the overall efficiency of our practice. Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week. Must have availability Monday - Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, as the schedule varies. ResponsibilitiesProvide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-upDeliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointmentTake and process X-RaysMaintain accurate patient records and documentationComplete sterilization processes for equipment and operatoriesWelcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment careEnsure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulationsPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assigned QualificationsRequirements High school diploma or equivalentDental Assistant CertificationPreferred Skills1+ years of Dental assisting experience preferred, willing to train Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitudeReliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical settingCompletion of a Dental Assisting program or Dental Assisting certification preferred according to State and individual practicesRadiology certification preferred according to state and individual practicesWe OfferCompetitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Package for Full Time Employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more! Specialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
