Job Description

Title: Java Cloud with Snowflake Type: Contract Location: Boston, MA Requirements: 5+ years of strong software development experience with expertise in Java 8 and above, including knowledge of Java 9 features. Experience with developing high-performance, scalable enterprise applications on cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Experience with Snowflake data platform. Strong skills in writing high-quality code with full automated unit testing (e.g., JUnit, Mockito). Experience with Microservices architecture, 12-factor methodology, and automated integration testing. Experience in API management and tools like Swagger. Ability to apply design standards, patterns, and quality metrics. Proficiency with CI/CD tools and build systems (Ant, Maven, Gradle). Experience with data platforms (relational and NoSQL) and messaging technologies. Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, and algorithms. Working knowledge of UNIX commands and scripting. Willingness to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Client-facing experience and ability to work well with distributed teams. Nice to Have: Experience in front-end development technologies. Experience creating high-performing applications with profiling and tuning. Knowledge of security or integration frameworks. Experience in DevOps practices. Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies. Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies. Willingness to travel.
