Location: Enfield, CT - (9 Cranbrook Blvd # 102, Enfield, CT 06082)

Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Sales Manager and Director of Business Development, the Physician Liaison must demonstrate accountability to: Establish, build and maintain physician and non-physician referral relationships and networks. Implement marketing plan and promotional strategies to attain procedure volume objectives. Coordinate healthcare programs and services for the central Connecticut market. Provide information and customer feedback to Sales Manager to achieve and maintain competitive advantage. Increase revenues by generating referrals to the centers. Educate physicians about diagnostic procedures. Perform all office procedures with independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.

  • Be an ambassador of Radiology Associates of Hartford and actively promote all services and products of the organization.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external guest services.
  • Arrive to work on time every day and ensure that you are physically in your assigned marketing territory at all times.
  • Contribute to the development of a formal written annual business plan and a quarterly marketing plan.
  • Increase revenue through marketing directly to physicians and their staff.
  • Review with the Sales Manager and Director of Business Development, referral patterns and implement response methods according to the marketing plan.
  • Create, obtain and update comprehensive list of all physicians, specialties, and addresses in territory.
  • Create, obtain and update comprehensive list of community and civic organizations, industry and medical contacts.
  • Develop monthly pattern of office visits to thoroughly cover designated territory.
  • Maintain a daily contact log/sales log in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and keep updated.
  • Actively participate in the development of marketing/sales plan using the following processes:
  • Service area analysis
  • Center and product services review
  • Target market analysis
  • Volume and market share analysis
  • Referral rates and patterns
  • Competitive analysis
  • Identification of problems and opportunities to increase company revenue
  • Identifying niche markets
  • Utilizing marketing tools and materials effectively
  • Coordinate all details of healthcare programs and services for clients and patients
  • Effective use of promotional items according to the quarterly marketing plan.
  • Request appropriate films/digital images and educational information to apprise physicians of the advantages of the various diagnostic-imaging modalities. (Request cases from technologist/ radiologists on specific modalities.) Ensure that all HIPAA regulations are followed.
  • Continually update diagnostic imaging sales and marketing knowledge.
  • Meet with the Sales Manager and Director of Business Development at scheduled times to discuss marketing activities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate group presentations, such as: educational presentation for a community groups or relevant medical group.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum three (3) years medical marketing/sales or marketing/sales experience in another industry with the ability to acquire diagnostic imaging. Medical and/or managed care knowledge may be considered.
  • Preferred: Prior Radiology/Imaging experience- technical, marketing/sales or cleric
Requirements:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school)
