This position supports large heterogeneous unclassified networks that support physical and virtual hosts with an emphasis on supporting software development teams and manufacturing cells. This position would allow for a full-time telecommuting arrangement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in NIST and/or CMMC frameworks, Network Security, reviewing compliance documentation, maintaining system documentation, developing infrastructure support procedures, creation and maintenance of security policy and process, and providing technical security support. Duties include supporting Information Systems Security Plans (ISSPs) and security compliance auditing and working with internal customers to ensure compliance is maintained. Selected candidate must also possess exceptional communication skills and be able to clearly articulate risks and risk mitigations to a wide range of audiences. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring they align with compliance requirements, such as NIST and CMMC. Responsible for reviewing Networking Security policy and configuration and approving Firewall changes and implementations and architecting Networking design solutions. Engage in functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to effectively translate customer requirements into concrete hardware and software specifications. Act as a liaison between the company and external customers, delivering high-quality communications and presentations regarding system security and compliance. Basic Requirements 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related STEM field; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD. An additional 7 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Networking experience; setup and configuration of networking switches and firewalls and virtual network management. Familiarity with SIEM tools as they pertain to Networking devices and objects. Proven experience with NIST/CMMC/ISO 27001 frameworks. Strong expertise in creating and managing security documents and policies, including system ISSPs. Desirable Skills Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto devices. Understanding of Zero-Trust architecture. Hands-on experience with IT hardware setup and maintenance. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware). Preferred experience in one or multiple of the following additional areas: IT hardware, virtualization, cloud technologies and Linux systems. Salary Range: $110,300 - $165,500 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
