How you'll contribute 

As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing the immediate post-op recovery care of the Perioperative patient in the PACU through the use of the nursing process. The Nursing process is defined as the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating of nursing care pertinent to the individual patient. You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Qualifications and requirements 

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school. 

Additional requirements include:

  • ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
  • One year of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. This unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
