Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles and a strong customer service orientation. As a Car Sales Associate, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the car buying process, providing exceptional service, and achieving sales targets. Your ability to build relationships and understand customer needs will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain vehicle features, benefits, and financing options.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage inventory control by keeping track of available vehicles and assisting in inventory management.
• Perform outbound sales activities including cold calling potential customers to generate leads.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Support sales initiatives by maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when communicating with clients via phone or email.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve overall dealership goals.

Essential Job Duties

• Proven experience in retail sales or outbound sales is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in inventory control and management is an advantage.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A passion for automobiles and knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• You have 2+ years of automotive sales experience
• Eligible to receive a Colorado salesperson license
• Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Authorized to work in the United States
