Job Title: Field Test Engineer (Entry-Level, Bilingual - English/Korean)

Location: Plano, TX

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves executing stationary and mobility test cases, preparing devices for field testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of mobile telecommunications products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute stationary and mobility test cases for Development and MR projects.
• Prepare devices for field testing, including software setup and test tool configuration.
• Create or revise test routes based on new network features and infrastructure changes.
• Report defects and issues using issue management platforms for analysis and resolution.
• Submit detailed daily field test reports.
• Collaborate closely with team members and other departments.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Analyze test results and compile comprehensive reports.
• Develop test designs, processes, cases, and documentation.
• Conduct testing in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Perform software testing throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel for business and work overtime as needed.
• Proficient in smartphone usage, operating systems, and mobile wireless telecommunications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Must be bilingual in English and Korean.
