Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and professional staff accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would be able to multitask and manage a wide array of corporate and partnership clients. Strong bookkeeping skills and the ability to work with a multitude of different businesses is a must. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who can complete the task at hand with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
· Preparation of financial statements using QuickBooks Online and Desktop software
· Bank, payroll and liability account reconciliations
· Chart of Account Management
· Coordinate with CPAs for tax planning and advice
· Worker’s Compensation audits
· Sales and Use Tax Returns
· Property Tax Returns
· City Tax and License renewals
· Annual 1099 filing
· Basic office and organizational skills
· Maintaining relationships with assigned clients
Requirements:
· High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
· Minimum 3 years bookkeeping and accounting experience
· Proficient with Microsoft Office products
· Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Desktop products
· Strong accounting and analytical skills
· Detail oriented and ability to multitask
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
· Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including QuickBooks
· Knowledge of Lacerte tax software is a plus
